the gardens
The gardens, of just over an acre, provide both a tranqil environment for Residents and their families to sit in and a haven for a wide variety of birds.
There are number of separate and distinct areas of the garden; a wildlife garden which is described more fully on the next page, a formal rose garden which also has a magnificent magnolia tree, and a large grassed garden with formal flowerbeds (which was once the tennis court).
There is also a large decked area, which is located close to the house and is a perfect sun trap from Spring to Autumn.
The area to the front of the property has recently been landscaped and has additional seating which overlooks the gardens.
