Accommodation
We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to accommodate 28 residents in 24 bedrooms. In practice four twin rooms are used as deluxe singles but are available for couples or those who would prefer to share.
All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, are centrally heated and have a television point. All but two rooms have en-suite facilities, and all have a wash basin.
There are well appointed bathrooms and toilet facilities, fitted with a specialist bath and bath lift, grab rails and safety aids.
Residents are welcome to bring small items of furniture and are encouraged to bring personal possessions with them.
There is a call system in every room.
Two sitting rooms overlook the gardens with views to the sea. A library is housed in one of the sitting rooms.
Meals are served in the conservatory dining room or the residents room if preferred.
A shaft lift provides easy access to the first floor.
A coin operated telephone, located in the main hall, is available to everyone. Residents who do not wish to have a telephone installed in their room can use the cordless telephone to receive calls.
